Renaissance Properties 166 Crosby Street is currently a hot commercial property in NYC with the Fishel & Cohen team renting multiple spaces

NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, May 24, 2021 / – The father and son team of Kenneth and Bradley Fishel of Renaissance Properties continue to rent space in a resurgent New York City. With the support of the Cohen team in Newmark, the Fishels have rented a significant amount of space in their portfolio.

Before the virus hit, the Fishels’ buildings were almost fully let. During the devastating effects of the virus, the Fishels formulated a plan to re-let their new jobs as if going to war. The first step was to assemble their army, which included architects, design professionals, public relations, and a contingent of contractors who were available for immediate work.

Their battle plan included restoring their historic rooms to pristine condition, showing off their natural materials, and highlighting the numerous functional monumental windows in each room. Next, they built a couple of pre-built offices of various sizes that invited tenants to move in quickly. The prices for the prefabricated and the open loft areas have been adjusted in line with the market in order to be competitive and attractive for leasing.

The Cohen team then went to work to show the space and successfully rented it. If a potential tenant indicated that they needed a change or addition within the space, the realtors immediately contacted the owners and responded to the tenant immediately.

“We have rented to great tenants,” says Bradley Fishel. The new leases include Nice Shoes, The Lede Company, Galileo, Healthquarters, NotCo, Bevel PR and Serengeti Asset Management at 166 Crosby Street for a total of SF 64,534. “We just built an amazing $ 2 million lobby on Crosby Street that has Joe Coffee, lounge seating, and bike storage. There is nothing like it in this market. ”

The Fishel-Cohen partnership has had similar leasing success in its other buildings. “The Fishels spend money. Period. It shows in their product. Their timeliness, flexibility and ingenuity are first class. Renters have a choice and there is a flight to quality in this type of market. The Fishels have everything it takes to close the deal. “Says JD Cohen from Newmark.

“We kept the best seat in the end,” said Kenneth Fishel. At 166 Crosby Street we have the most spectacular square in the downtown market. The space has 36 windows in a perfectly rectangular classic loft that towers over neighboring buildings. The Fishels are waiting for the “right tenant” to make an offer for the space: “We’ll do whatever we need to do for the right tenant,” adds Fishel.
