Mithun Rabheru was among 18 winners announced during a gala night of celebrations at the Black Ox 2021 Thames Valley Property Awards at the Pavilion, Ascot Racecourse, on December 9th.
Mithun is a Senior Associate in IBB Law’s Residential Development Team in one of the largest real estate law teams in the region.
Mithun was shortlisted after serving a number of large FTSE-listed housing companies, housing associations, local government agencies, regional and national property developers, landowners and institutional investors on high quality and complex property acquisitions for residential and mixed use developments. Mithun has worked on more than 98 deals with gross development value of more than £ 90million in the past 12 months.
Mithun is held in high regard in the housing sector and in the team. He is steadily building his status as a trusted advisor to a number of high profile blue chip clients including Bellway Homes Limited, Persimmon Homes Limited, Thrive Homes Limited, and Aquinna Homes Plc and others.
Mithun said of his victory:
All of the finalists were very strong so I’m very humble and honored to have won. For me, a transaction is about reminding everyone that we are working towards common goals and not against each other so that both parties are happy and get the desired result. I try to achieve a smooth process by understanding people what they want and how best to help them achieve it. Since my apprenticeship I have been dealing with the area of affordable housing. Because there is a lack of housing, affordable housing is so important.
Joanna DeBiase, Managing Partner of IBB Law, commented:
I am very pleased that Mithun has been recognized for his excellent work in the field of residential property development. We have one of the largest real estate teams in the Southeast and nothing gives me more pleasure than being part of developing the next generation of talented lawyers. Congratulations to Mithun and the team.
