All-Star Miami Heat Guard and Magic alum Victor Oladipo was banned from the game in April but is busy as a real estate mogul with the recent purchase of a mall in Orlando’s MetroWest area with a side business.

As of the. reported Orlando Business Journal On Tuesday, the former Magic player spent $ 7.6 million through his company VO Spv Real Estate LLC to buy the Metro Station shopping complex on Kirkman Road.

The MetroWest mall is currently home to Brazilian Fight & Fitness, the Juicy Crab, Dollar Tree, Sale Beauty Supply, and Cricket Wireless. It has the added appeal of being right next to a Walmart and was valued at $ 6 million by the Orange County Property Appraiser in 2020 OBJ. (Orange County’s house prices are a crazy move indeed.)

Oladipo played for Magic from 2013 to 2016, but has been at home in the Heat since March of this year. As noted above, Oladipo may have had “season-ending surgery” on his right quadriceps tendon in May and it is speculated that he will be out for at least a good portion of this year’s game. The orthopedic surgeon who performed the operation posed to ESPN that Oladipo could be expected to return in November.
